Almost Full

This is my plan. Since I have quite the clue of how my life will be until June, that is, I'd rather sleep my extra time off or spend some last few days with our kitties *tears* instead of posing for what I'm wearing (...and acting as if I'm a model and reliving a dream that I never really actually dreamt off, haha!...) I shall temporarily transform my blog into a "day-in-a-life-of-Mariel" since that's the best treatment I can apply for now and will serve as my best excuse for uploading low resolution photos from my iPhone.

Loving my new office? Well, this is just one of them.:D But this is where I have been spending most of my time nowadays --- learning to summon some ultrasonic hearing so I can be able to determine what the rest of my new found specie hears when judging what should best be heard against produced visuals. In short, soundtrack or audio production.:D


Hold on though, I won't be talking about that, of course!:P


For this early morning, I'll be doing...wait for it...an outfit post! Do I hear a, Yey?!?!?! :)

Don't you just feel my efforts so I can keep up with what I have created of my blog? Haha! This is the most I can do with my arms' reach --- cut myself in sections so you can use your imagination and complete my outfit for the day. Better get those right part of the brain working and create a mental picture of me with my kick-ass ensemble. So sporty huh?!

Jackets have been my best friend in this cold suite. The perfect time to unearth my favorite three stripes. I have nothing new on me to be really honest. But I like how I've been depending on solid colors to complete an outfit with what's still left in our cabinet. Yuh, haven't been able to move yet to the new pad. The situation though allows me to revisit the clothes I have only used twice or thrice and make them worthier of staying in my closet.:) Are you guilty of over-buying and under-using too? Click like. :P

Life or Something Like It

While my pseudo fashion blog seems to be a bore lately and I spend most of my time listening to endless cuts of voice overs, network music, sound effects and even live sound from actual series of footage, I am just so happy that J has that amount of time we need to finish our new home. Haylavyah Baby! You make our dreams come true!


However, should you dare ask if I miss fashion? Oh dear, I certainly do! I cannot even articulate the gravity of how much I am longing to post another decent blog about it. Or at the very least visit my favorite fashion blog lists. If not at all, at least take time to look at new trends that I can, again, at the very least, admire from where I am at the moment. Sadly, reality does not permit it for now. All my clothes are already packed and have been moved to our new home. All I have left in our closet now are a few basic wear that I can mix and match from now up until next week.


Anyway, here's the new space we'll be living in by next week (hopefully). I can't wait to see all of J's Optimus Primes and Ironman displayed in those sweet, neat shelves. The mere idea of moving to our own unit thrills me to the core. And I love you so much dark gray walls! :D


Despite my lack of sleep the past few days, it's quite surprising how I haven't felt that certain kind of "tiredness" that I usually experience when life becomes all about overlapping work day after day after day. I guess I am really just excited to become a student again and learn this new field I am in. I can't help but remember and agree on this quite strong copy I read from the Make Kony Famous video I saw last month:

Nothing more is powerful than an idea whose time HAS COME.

                                                                             IS NOW. 

Mine though isn't just an idea. It's more of a well thought of choice. A dream if I were to be romantic about it. It's really something when you love what you do. It makes even the hardest moments bearable. I swear. And even if sometimes, you may feel stupid for initially not knowing what you have and need to do, if you love something enough, you learn to forgive yourself better and understand that it takes time to be the person that you want to be. And that most importantly, it takes time to become the best at something. 

I will take my time if that means that I will learn well and become the best that I can ever be in this field. Opportunities like this do not knock at your door four times if it weren't for a reason.:)

Greetings from the Land of Feline Love!

Geez, I miss you guys! I do! As you can see, I unfortunately cannot find a decent time to take outfit posts. So I shall just share with you whatever I can grab from my phone instead. Meet Spanky (female) Jr. aka Junjun. Yup, she's just like her father. 100% carbon copy, inside and out. Except, well, for some occasional Luna moments when it comes to being so agile.

Right now, I am slowly conquering the world of audiophiles. I am still here, 3:35am, conceiving a material for TV. Just a few deep breaths and some extra push and it'll come out soon enough. My first project in tandem as a part of a company of Freelance Producers. How is it you ask? Well, to be honest, if you're accustomed to not eating on time, not having a normal "8 hour sleep", creating time just to be able to attend a series of meetings from one place to another, can send a hundred sms in a span of a minute and can multi-task physically, mentally and have simultaneous things done all at the same time then I guess it's pretty much an easy job. Easy. Haha! Of course, I'm kidding. I'm still adjusting. But everyday seems to end just fine. I don't know how. But it just does. So thank You. I know You are backing me up all the time. Thank You.

I know, I know. I too miss posting "me" in clothes I love to be in. But, hey, what can I do? Sometimes, priorities need to be prioritized. And this is quite the priority I chose for now. But I miss you all so much, I really do!:)
